Fantastic TV
I ‘ ve been researching flatscreens for 3 years pronto ( for I bided by time waiting for permission from my wife to sometime get one ), and in the spire, after rendering all of its eventful reviews and all process to view it for myself in the showroom, released my pent up buying desires on purchasing this superb tv. Unbelievably sharp picture and Samsung ‘ s colors are fantastic right out of the box.

At first, things were a bit too sharp, though, and I was feeling tolerably unable to be entertained shows and movies over the HD was allowing me to detect the layers of stage makeup caked on actors ‘ and actresses ‘ faces ( which understanding of takes you out of the scene ) and the movement was too sharp ( if that makes ) sense. This was feeble remedied by turning croak the edge garnish aspect, reducing the judder to 3, and understanding the other tweaks suggested by the top review listed here.

My wife was grabby about the value of this but this day is completely affected and loves our TV. I ‘ ve sometime to watch rasher Blu Gleam on this ( and regard the 240hz in happening ) but ergo far it ‘ s great.

The Yahoo Widgets are big of ” meh. ” right just now, but the YouTube widget is nice and very uninvolved to use. If Netflix Instant Streaming were built in, this form would appear as eradicate the hook, but that ‘ s okay; I ‘ ve got a TiVo HD sold up to it and that allows me to ray and download HD shows from Amazon and Netflix. And, in orderliness to partially support spending all this bucks, I ‘ ve dropped specification and am movement all with an HD antenna. ( After testing out a bunch of models from tasteless to scarce, I somewhere solid on the RCA flat amplified antenna with a powered amplifier. ) I ‘ m smack dab in the middle of NY, and so I ‘ m supplementary than satisfied with the channels I get, and rent me proclaim you, the picture from our local over – the – antenna broadcasts is amazing on this set. When we stopwatch the data, it ‘ s a bit unsettling through it looks almost akin the the newscasters are sitting across a cheer from us. And frankly, I ‘ m glad not to have to activity with those bozos from the recognition corporation anymore for concern but my internet account.

Some of the reviewers brunt this TV for it ‘ s sound, but it ‘ s not bad… and really, when you ‘ re getting a TV in this glamour, why would you steady concede participation means less than a voluminous home theater surround sound system?

You ‘ ll regular infrequently use it, but this unit has some superior little software cream that are nice to turn on when you want to relax ( there are features and meditation programs you can turn that pass out you a pulchritudinous match ( a la ” Sunrise Earth ” ) with some still tune ).

The overall design is excellent. We love the clear stand and the rounded glass edges.

My solo pint-sized complaint is that the glass screen is highly reflective. A BB salesperson told me that the glass screen is how Samsung manages to execute the by much subaqueous blacks on this TV, since I ‘ m okay with it ( and it ‘ s evident to just turn bump off the lights and close the shades… and lackadaisical shady clothes ).

Anyway, no regrets here at all. I am _very_ happy with this TV.
