Optical Block problem
I've had this Sony KF-60WE610 for about 5 years. The optical block failed after about 2 years and was replaced under warranty. But in early 2009 (just after Sony's extended warranty), the optical block failed again leaving blue pixel dots all over the screen along with a blue haze. No TV should fail after such a short period of time, and yet this problem has been experienced by thousands. I expected this TV to last for decades just like all my other TVs. And Sony refuses to back their product. I for one will NEVER purchase another SONY product.

Good For a while and then the screen starts to go!
It started out good, but now there are big blue blotches on the screen. I've had this TV for almost three years and about a year and a half in, it started to get these blue blotches. I called Sony and they had someone call to see if it was one of their common problems, then said it wasn't and that we would have to pay 0 just to have a guy come out and check to make sure and then pay for repairs on our own afterwards if it wasn't a problem that they were already aware of. My in laws and sister also bought the same TV and they are both having the same problems....If you buy this TV get the extended Warranty!

Love it!
This TV is the best! Haven't had a problem yet. We just bought this Tv for 0 from a friend because it was too big for his house. We love it!

SONY DOES NOT STAND BY ITS PRODUCT
My Sony Vega 60 inch operated for only ten months when the screen went black. It appears to be the lamp b/c the lamp light is blinking. Sony has said it is NOT going to honor the warranty, even though the tv operated for only ten months, b/c the warranty takes effect from the date of purchase, not the date of install. I called 3 days out of the warranty. So even though I can prove the tv was still in the box at the store, I have to pay myself this expense. No TV that costs this much should operate only ten months. SONY YOU SUCK.

Excellect Television
We bought this television in Jan. 04 and have never had any problems with it. The picture is outstanding and no problems with the sound. We have hdtv cable so maybe that helps. I hope by writing this review I don't jinx myself. I would buy this t.v. again. Don't let the negative reviews bother you---we are quite happy.

Sony Bravia M-Series 37 inch LCD TV
I recently picked this tv up used and am happy with the TV. The sound is average, the picture is bright and the colors appear decent. I dont think the M-series is the top of the line Bravia as another reviewer claimed. The back lighting is a little too bright, so blacks are not super dark (even with it turned all the way down). The external styling is nice and simple. Too many LCD manufacturers are using glossy black finishes that in my opinion look horrid.

Sony Bravia KDL-37M3000
The only problem with SONY TV's is that they, like the Energizer Bunny, keep going and going and going. My 1986 Sony 19 inch needed a big brother and after looking at Sharp and Samsung and others I concluded that the SONY LCD 37 inch Bravia 3000 was the logical choice. The 37 inch is large enough for the average sized living room, the remote simple and 'uncluttered' containing only the functions and features you will use 99% of the time, and nothing more. The menu system is easy to understand and interact with, and has my favorite feature, seemingly unique to SONY, the INFO BANNER, that displays the title of the program currently aired. The picture quality is excellent and does not have that overly emphasized contrast that many lesser brands use like a fishing lure to entice the unwary buyer. SONY, simply put, is a great product overall, and the Bravia LCD in particular is well designed having fantastic well balanced warm natural colors, sufficient controls to enhance picture and sound to your personal taste and an array of inputs that satisfy most needs. If there is any doubt, yes I am a loyal SONY customer because once you have had the best there is no substitute.

Beautiflul design, great picture quality!
There may be other slightly cheaper brands with good looks or good picture quality, but none of them have both, like this Sony Bravia. Add to this the Sony name and competitive pricing, this Sony Bravia easily beats its competition.
The contrast is excellent and the display is bright. I think the picture quality actually beats my 46" Bravia I bought last year. I haven't used any yet but it's got plenty of input options, including VGA and HDMI ports. I highly recommend this set.

Wonderful Value for the money
This TV is so much superior to the Olevia 37" LCD that we purchased a two years ago. I only wish I had waited and purchased two of the Sony Bravia's instead. Much better at showing dark areas of the screen. Works great with my Apple TV, Sony DVD, and cable connection. You can count me as one VERY HAPPY customer!

TOTALLY PLEASED!!
FANTASTIC TV WITH A BEAUTIFUL PICTURE. BOUGHT IT ON SALE FOR 9 WITH FREE SHIPPING AND NO SALES TAX. I WAS A LITTLE WORRIED ABOUT BUYING A TV THROUGH THE INTERNET BECAUSE I WAS UNSURE IF WOULD ARRIVE SAFELY. IT WAS VERY WELL PACKED AND EASY TO SET UP. THE 37" WAS A GOOD CHOICE FOR OUR DEN. WE ARE THRILLED WITH IT. IT'S AMAZING ALL THE DETAILS IT PICKS UP THAT WE COULDN'T GET ON THE OLD SET. HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS ONE!

Great TV
Great choice, I'm very happy!
It's got normal channels, and HD channels, great sound, selection of picture...

Great while it lasted -- but didn't last.
Great TV while it lasted -- it really was! -- but the LCD array burned out after just 14 months of only moderate use, and was a write-off. Fortunately had bought the dealer extended warranty insurance and got a new Samsung in exchange.

Great TV, beautiful picture
This is a very nice TV. The controls are easy to use and ports are easily accessed. The picture was superb right out of the box and required very little adjustment. Also, I turned it on using my cable box remote immediately, no synching required. Very happy with this purchase.

Sony 32 LCD
This is the second one that I purchased! It has a very clear picture and since I have it connected to my PC, I rarely watch TV anymore!
Already looking at another one.
